My journey with Sue began in October last year. I have participated in the M/W/F Tabata Bootcamp class that she offers at my local gym. It is now the end of February and I am now down 20lbs, and am much stronger. I truly admire Sue’s committment to all her clients, and her contagious enthusiasm. We are all different sizes, shapes, and abilities, yet Sue has us all working to each of our fullest potentials. Class never gets old because she keeps the circuits fresh each time. With her encouragement I have now added her Powerhouse Spin once a week and love it!

I started working out with Sue in January. I thought I was in better shape. How wrong I was. Sue keeps the classes fun and engaging. There is always a challenge. Who knew I could run nearly a quarter of a mile. I know it doesn’t sound like much but to me I can now put a new goal on the table and have the courage to sign up for a 5k.

Nancy’s Success Story

Dear Sue, Thank you so much for your excellent instruction in your Gentle Yoga Class. I just wanted you to know how much it has helped me. I had a knee, groin and lower back injury that just was not getting any better after over a year of other alternative modalities. It took the joy and action out of my life. I just wanted to cry with the constant pain. I could not sleep because of the pain and discomfort. All I wanted to do when I got home from work was lay on my bed. It dragged on so long I thought: “Is this it? Is this how it’s going to be for the rest of my life?” This was unusual for me as I am an active person. I like to jog, hike, bike, explore and have adventure in my life. I feel I am a very young 60 year old person. But at that time with all the pain I felt like a very old and broken 90 year old. When I first started your class I could not even do the simplest balancing positions. Now I am pain free and look forward to your class and the great way I feel doing the positions. I do not want to miss a single class, for the joy of feeling fantastic is something I will never take for granted again. I want to thank you for giving that back to me. I want to thank you for showing me all the possible modified positions till I gained my strength and confidence back. What was such an effort is now like a beautiful flowing dance. Now I can add Yoga to the list of active things I love to do. I can never thank you enough. Sue is a great instructor! She gears her workouts for all fitness levels. In some cases this would not be good for those who need a more intense workout but, she makes sure to show how to intensify each routine. Sue knows how to “encourage” you without being one of those in your face instructors. I have been taking many of her classes for months and plan on continuing to do so. Thanks Sue!

Leona’s Success Story

Sue gets you moving and always makes working out fun! I just completed, Boot Camp and Kick-Boxing Classes with Sue Conrad. What a great teacher and a great experience! I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to keep-up, but Sue was so encouraging and always reminded us to work at our own pace. I am going to be 49 years old this year, and I did it! My daughter, who is 21 years old encouraged me to go with her, and together we had the best time working out! I encourage others to try these classes, you won’t be disappointed! In January of this year, I had to have arthroscopic surgery on my left knee. Needless to say, I hated being so stationary and helpless. I was doing physical therapy, but it was a slo-go process. It wasn’t until I signed up for Sue’s Cycle class, that I finally started to get muscle tone back into my leg and energy back into my life! I loved it so much that the next quarter, I signed up to cycle twice a week!! It’s energizing, invigorating and totally fun! Sue has a kind yet contagious tone that make you want to work hard! She is not pushy and only expects one to do what they can. I appreciate her tenacity and conversation and wide range of music choice! When I found Sue Conrad’s Prenatal Yoga class I knew it would be a great class to help improve my strength. The first day of the class we were greeted by Sue’s smiling face and a warm hello. As a first time mother, it was nice to be around other women who were going through similar things I was experiencing. It was so wonderful to be able to spend an hour really connecting with my body and the baby growing inside me. Sue moved through each pose slowly allowing us to feel relaxed before we moved to the next pose.

I would recommend this class to any pregnant mother who wishes to gain strength and become more connected with their child.
