I had always wanted to try a Kickboxing class and was excited that Sue offered one. I am not an early morning person (6:30 am) but Sue’s class really motivated me. She is encouraging and makes you feel like you can do it no matter what your physical level is. I plan on taking her class again and even bought myself a a cardio kickboxing bag. Sue may seem to be a quiet person but she just lights up when she is teaching her class.

I signed up for Sue’s Prenatal Yoga Class when I was around 18 weeks along, and ended up doing two, six week sessions with her! Before I was pregnant, I had done a few other yoga classes over a couple of years, and always had struggled trying to find the right breathing pattern. In general, I always struggled with yoga. Once I began Sue’s Prenatal Yoga Class, I actually learned the correct way to find my breath doing different poses, and just slowed down and went at my own pace.

Sue taught us different breathing techniques, and a couple different positions/stretches to do throughout pregnancy that I was able to do in the delivery room between contractions. Giving birth was definitely the hardest thing I have ever done, but I am glad I was taught how to do different comfortable poses to help, and get me through delivery.

My family and extended family just completed a wonderful 2 consecutive day Yoga morning at Avila Beach, CA. There were 10 of us one morning and 4 the next. Sue’s gracious and calm led Yoga session was adaptable to all ages (kids ages 5 – 12, and adults up to age 60+!) If you haven’t already experienced Sue as an instructor, don’t procrastinate, check out any of her classes as I’m sure they are all excellent! (I am a user of Yoga and Spin classes and they both are excellent!)

I highly recommend this class for anyone in their 2nd or 3rd Trimester. Sue Conrad does a great job modifying poses to meet everyone’s needs wherever they may be in their practice and pregnancy. Ladies take this hour for yourselves to connect with your breath and your baby and help prepare your body for the miraculous arrival of your little one.

Hans has only been the USA for three years and this is his third year in yoga. Both of us feel that Sue is “Tops” in Instruction. In January of this year, I had to have arthroscopic surgery on my left knee. Needless to say, I hated being so stationary and helpless. I was doing physical therapy, but it was a slo-go process. It wasn’t until I signed up for Sue’s Cycle class, that I finally started to get muscle tone back into my leg and energy back into my life! I loved it so much that the next quarter, I signed up to cycle twice a week!! It’s energizing, invigorating and totally fun! Sue has a kind yet contagious tone that make you want to work hard! She is not pushy and only expects one to do what they can. I appreciate her tenacity and conversation and wide range of music choice! I had never been a very active person and my weight was always one of my main struggles. I worked with Sue on and off for about six years. I had never been a very active person and my weight was always one of my main struggles. After a long time of not working out, I went back to Sue and realized how badly I needed a life change. Sue helped me by challenging me in my workouts, keeping me accountable for working out three days a week, and even giving me tips on healthy things to eat. I have gone from 284 pounds to 197, gained strength, and I feel so much better thanks to Sue and her training.

Sue has helped me towards my weight loss goal of 60lbs. I started taking sue’s classes about 6 months ago, and all i can say is i am so thankful i did. I started out with her bootcamp class which was a very fun, upbeat and challenging class in a good way. I have now taken three classes with her and plan on taking many many more, she is extremely motivating and shows you so many new exercises that i have never tried. Along with a current diet plan i am on, Sue has helped me towards my weight loss goal of 60lbs and as of now i have lost 50lbs! Sue has been my Pilates instructor for over a year now. She is helpful yet not critical. She is capable of teaching to all fitness levels. Her classes can be challenging, but she always presents modifications if your skills are not quite there. Her classes always go by so fast! I highly recommend her Pilates classes to anyone interested.
